A coach discussing the game with SoccerRangers players on the touchline
Which group is right for my child?

Our stages are SoccerTots Ages 2–4 / Mini Rangers Ages 4–6 / Junior Rangers Ages 7–10 / Academy Rangers Ages 11+. Coaches also consider experience and ability. Four-year-olds may join ST or MR according to readiness.

Can a beginner join?

Book a trial first. We will discuss your child's activity experience and interests to find a suitable starting point. Prior technical training is not required.

What is the difference between JR and AR?

JR, ages 7–10, focuses on individual technique, passing and small-sided game understanding. AR, ages 11+, develops tactics, positional awareness and match performance further.

How are camp groups arranged?

Check the announced ages and groups first. Coaches then group players by age, experience and ability. See the camp page for the arrangements for each event.

What are Star Points?

Star Points recognise effort and progress in training and matches, including technique, decisions, teamwork and responsibility. Together with coach feedback, they guide the next goal rather than just rewards. Ask the coach about recording arrangements.

Are there matches every week?

Training includes small-sided games. External matches are not guaranteed every week. Opportunities depend on group, readiness and the activity schedule.

How are Soccer Rangers and TFS connected?

Soccer Rangers provides training, match development and player growth. TFS Pathway builds on this foundation with long-term football, education and international planning around the player and family.

What ages is TFS Pathway for?

Ages 7–10 build football foundations; 10–13 develop technique and game understanding; 12–15 build match experience and a player profile; ages 14+ plan around football, academics, English and family goals. Stages overlap and depend on readiness.

Can a regular training player progress towards TFS?

TFS can be a long-term direction. Build training habits and football foundations first, then assess options alongside match experience, academics, language and family goals. Training does not guarantee admission, scholarships or professional opportunities.

What does a player profile include?

The framework connects basic details, training and match records, Star Growth, media, reports and development plans, with a TFS link at the right stage. The website shows a sample profile; confirm current records and reports with the coach.
